From what I read in a different article about this (sorry, don't remember the link), they didn't actually pull the ad. They were only planning to run it for a week. It ran for a week, then it expired. So anyone who thinks they listened to the criticism is mistaken.
As for the chain, I know I've seen their commercials, but I don't know if I've ever actually seen one of their restaurants. There may be one near me, and I've just never noticed. I'm certainly not going to go out and try to find one to eat at after this.
