TV & Film The Walking Dead

I know there isn't anybody really interested in The Walking Dead anymore but this was interesting. I am still watching it!
The new character, Beta, is played by Ryan Hurst who is vegan. They made some jokes on Talking Dead about it. This guy:

I’m not exactly disinterested, just not interested as much as I had been with all of the character changes. Funny, because I just asked my son if he’s been watching and he said no, not one single episode since it came back on in February.

I decided I think it will be best for me to wait another week or so in order to have a few episodes that I can watch, back to back. I think it’s going to hold more interest for me that way. Watching one episode per week just isn’t as exciting for me anymore. I don’t even look forward to the next episode. So I’m hoping once I start watching again, with 4-5 episodes at a time, I will be able to get back into it. I mentioned that to my son and he thought it was a good idea and may do the same thing. I have only seen the first episode, so far, and I think I will re-watch it and start from there. I don’t even know how many episodes I missed! I’m thinking not more than 4-5?
 
There have been 5 since the second half started and there are only 2 left in the season. The one thing I miss about not having Jeremy around is talking about The Walking Dead! :D

@Chryssie...sooooooooo. What do think? Were you surprised? Did you expect any of it because of the comic?

I didn’t watch yet but someone posted “shock” (not details or spoilers) so it peaked my curiosity and I went to the WD FB page to see what happened, lol.

I’m not that affected but I can’t wait to start binging now. :)
 
Ok I have watched TWD and Talking Dead. Having read the comic, I knew what was going to happen but as the show often does, they changed things quite a bit. I had seen the spoilers on Spoiling Dead on FB so I had already seen "the list." I think they were right about most of it. It was a tense and emotional episode. They are doing an awesome job making the Whisperers the scariest enemies ever! Alpha and Beta are absolutely terrifying!

I may have to watch last night’s episode now then backtrack and start from the February episode lol.
 
I rewatched the first episode (the February one, 909). Watching the next one now. I think I know why I’m having such a hard time getting into it. It’s too dark. Everything happens in the dark and I can’t see anything! I hate that. I can barely tell who’s who especially with the new characters where I can’t recognize their voices. Why do they have to do that?

Binge watching was totally the way to go. Really enjoying it once I got past episode 910 with the Lydia backstory. That was boring as all heck. I have two more episodes to go to be caught up. Watching them now before work. :)
 
There are some things I obviously missed and the flashbacks are confusing. Like how did I miss that Michonne was pregnant and can I assume it’s Rick’s baby? :lol:
 
I remember a scene with Rick and Michonne talking about having a baby. I think they were in bed at the time. :D I don't know which episode that was though. The flashbacks can be confusing; I know I've been confused a few times too. The flashbacks used to really irritate me; not a technique I really enjoy but lots of shows seem to be using this now. And yes, of course it's Rick's baby!

And now I’m mad because I can’t wait for Sunday’s finale and I’m going to be all anxious waiting for October to come around. I liked it better when I didn’t care. :lol:
 
LOL I can't even see the finale until after work on Monday! I have to avoid all the discussions! We have Fear the Walking Dead to watch until TWD comes back in October.
