Most people (even some vegans) don't know that wine is often filtered through fining agents that are animal-derived (some examples are: bone marrow, casein, gelatin). However, vegans should not have to give up the luxury of drinking amazing wine! Ava Winery is making a revolutionary vegan & gluten-free wine, without grapes. Follow this link to learn more about the wine and even order a bottle. Would love to hear the vegan community's feedback! :)

My local wine store used to have a vegan section but I wasn't able to find it the last time I was in there. I hope they just relocated it and didn't get rid of it altogether. I'm going to have to ask (I hate that).

Sainsbury's and Co-op (UK based supermarkets) have plenty of clearly labeled vegan friendly wines. Drinking a nice Merlot from Sainsbury's now as it happens. :)
That's good to know. Sainsbury's also stock several vegan cheeses, so I need to get down to Sainsbury's next year in the UK.
