I can't say I was ever big on TMBG. I have many friends, LEGION, that do like them, but it's not something that I normally listen to. I respect them, but that's about as far as it goes. They're like Radiohead in that aspect to me

What did they do that was so bad? I want to know because I think they're cool but that is subject to change if they're dicks.

They weren't as well known as they are now. I met them after they performed at a local bar. I had made a special trip to see them perform.
I can't recall specifics of what was said anymore, but it was their "I'm better than you" attitude that made me unhappy with them.
They may have just been having a bad day, but I thought it was a crappy attitude to have when dealing with fans (and myself in particular).
