Music What bands/concerts have you seen lately?

They're coming to Cleveland this summer and I forgot the presale date .
Oh no, annoying. We were trying to get seated, but we ended up with standing in the presale.

We have two elderly pets, but when we don't I would like to go to the US to see a band. Combine a holiday with seeing a band.

I will be seeing Nine Inch Nails in both Boston and Minnesota in August. On Tuesday, I'm going to see Jerry Cantrell in Boston. I also have Creed in July (a local show!) and Steven Wilson (in Boston, I believe) in September.

It's shaping up to a be a good concert year. The prices are insane for tickets, so I do pick and choose which ones I can swing. In the old days, I probably would have hit up six or seven NIN shows, but now I'm lucky to get to two. I'll be staying with my friends in Minnesota, and they are coming out for the Boston show and will stay at my house.

How much do you pay for a ticket in the US? Concerts are expensive here, we paid £180 for two tickets for NIN.

Ours were a bit more, with all the stupid fees they dump on a ticket. We paid about $185 per ticket, which includes about $35 to $40 in fees. The prices were all over the map. Some were going as high as $600 apiece, like for pit or floor seats. We are in the lower bowl for both shows, but we're high up in the section.

People on a NIN FB fan page were posting their totals for two pit or floor seats, and the price was over $1,000! I could never. I'm wincing at having to pay what we did for our tickets. Steven Wilson was under $100 as was Jerry Cantrell. I think the Creed tickets were right around $110 each. I miss the days of $60 and $70 tickets, lol.

Oh wow. It is gouging with the prices!

We are seeing Papa Roach this week.
