A smoothie with spinach, bananas, blueberries, unsweetened cocoa and almond milk; butternut squash soup (if I get around to making it, lol); homemade seitan roast; roasted carrots, broccoli and Brussels sprouts.
Bread prices in the US are crazy! I found it so difficult to buy decent tasting bread without sugar. Moreover, I never found any artisan style sourdough whole wheat bread during my stay in California.

Right?? It galls me that the prices are so high for bread that isn't very good! And I hear you on the whole wheat sourdough bread. There is a grocery store near my mom that actually sells it, but it's very hard to find and disappears quickly despite the $7 (!) per loaf price. I would like to try that recipe KLS linked to (thank you, @KLS52), the overnight-rise artisan bread. That looks delicious and pretty easy, but I will make some basic white bread for today because I'm impatient, haha.
I finished the last of the kabocha squash I grew. There were two left, and I cooked them both in my slow-cooker after removing the seeds (and saving a lot of them for planting next year)! (A pumpkin is a kind of squash... right?)
A yummy mushroom chowder
quart of water, Vegeta, thyme, rosemary, 2 potatoes, 2 big carrots, celery, onion, about 3 cups chopped mushrooms. Pulsed it with immersion blender then added half a bag of frozen carrots. Oh yeah, and about a Tbls lions main powder
Was gonna add miso but almost out

what a great meal - we were watching a youtuber from Germany last night make just simple potato soup and then cabbage soup with beans and thought how inexpensive it is to eat healthy whole foods that are so tasty and so healthy - she put pickles and tons of dill in the potato soup and capers in the cabbage soup - so smart
I had avocado toast on homemade bread and an orange for breakfast. I'll be having some squash soup later and a mung bean eggless omelet with onions, spinach and olives. I likely will have some more fruit during the day.
