I only wish 32C/89F was considered a "heat wave" here. lol.
I'm going to be sitting in a cool bath with my kindle and an ice-lolly this weekend.
The temperature reached 53C/128F in Death Valley, California on June 28. Well short of the record there, however.
Tampa, Florida has never reached 100 degrees, fun fact. The humidity is a million percent, though, and the nights do not cool down. The rest of the year is riduculously nice, though.40C/104F here earlier in the week. Pretty normal for summer.

I'm happinest with anything below 20c. I am cold-lover.
One of my pet hates though is when people moan about the weather regardless of what the weather is like. Firstly because talking about the weather is pretty dull, and secondly because moaning about things you can't change and happen every year is pointless, and thirdly because if you're going to have a moan (and sure, everyone likes to moan sometimes!) PICK A SIDE.
Haha yeah. I dont need to look at a weather forecast I can just go on Facebook to see what people are whinging about.
To me, as long as you're prepared any weather is OK. I have no sympathy for those who whinge it is too hot when they're in ridiculous clothing (even if you want to hide your legs for some reasons, there are other options that are not skinny jeans! likewise if you dont like sandals - there are options that aren't boots)
Latest observations show provisionally that the new highest temperature of the year so far has been recorded at Heathrow and Exeter Airport today , 13 July, reaching 30.0 C
