32 °C - Heatwave for the UK

I can deal with heat just fine but not the crazy muggyness. It's just impossible to stay cool or sleep.

I don't know, I guess in hot countries they are a bit more prepared for the heat. Our house is made for keeping heat IN & we still have no fans...our own fault, lol.

You definitely get used to it. I moved from cold New England to warm Florida in June one year and was completely miserable the first summer. Then I got used to it and I get freezing cold when it's still mild out. :-)
 
Saturday saw the highest temperature of the year so far - 31.9C at Southampton Oceanographic Centre. It was
31.4 °C at London's Heathrow. My friend who works at the Virgin Atlantic's CH said it was stiffling despite the AC !

These are only official recordings in certain areas, and the temperature may even be higher in some places.

Where I live, the temperature is a few degrees higher than the one given on the news.
