Spoilers still work. This is the choice we have while we're waiting for the add-on developer to fix the bug, which could take a while, I really don't know:
1. Don't do anything. You'll have both spoilers and nested quotes.
2. Disable the spoiler add-on. You'll have neither spoilers nor nested quotes.

Okay, there was a third option that I just thought of today: revert to an older version of the spoiler add-on. Fortunately I still had an old version in my downloads folder. Problem fixed for now.
