Let's talk taters!:turnip::turnip: Baking potatoes are pretty cheap around here, I can get a big bag for around $3. I have been topping them with broccoli, cheese, beans, whatever I have on hand pretty much. How do you all like your baked potatoes? What are your favorite toppings?

savoy cabbage and sauerkraut. :)

Roasted broccoli and nutritional yeast "cheese" sauce (blended steamed sweet potato, nutritional yeast, plant milk, marjoram, pinch of nutmeg, garlic powder, sometimes I throw in tofu to make this sauce even richer)

vegan enchilada sauce and black beans

Vegan butter, lots of it...salt, pepper and Tofutti Better Than Sour Cream. I don't eat baked potatoes often for obvious reasons, haha.

No! I had a craving for potatoes or oven-roasted chips yesterday, but I don't have any spuds in the house.:sob:

I used to love grated cheddar cheese and Heinz baked beans on a jacket potato when I was vegetarian. I now use vegan cheese on top of beans. I would eat a baked potato with just vegan butter and salt too.

Potatoes are the best. I don't use my oven in the summer so as soon as weather permits, I'll make baked potatoes. And pizza!

My favorite is with just Earth Balance margarine. But I too like the Tofutti Better Than Sour Cream.

I love plain ol' baked potatoes with a little EB and pepper, but I also like various toppings such as broccoli and vegan cheese, veggie chili, refried beans with vegan cheese, or salsa.
