I deleted my original post to reduce the confusion I inadvertently created with my comment.
To be clear:
veganforum.ORG is a new web board, not to be confused with veganforum.COM.
veganforum.COM is an OLD vegan web board run by an ignoramus and control freak called "Korn".
veganforum.ORG is a NEW vegan web board run y Indian Summer, the owner of this board, and with no affiliation to the old Veggie Boards.

Just to clarify: I didn’t create an account on veganforum, but I will still be able to use my VeggieViews account?
My understanding is that you don't need to do anything, but some members here have preemptively joined veganforum. I'm just wondering if I did that, will IS be able to merge accounts, or will he need to remove one.

I used to be a member on veganforum.COM, where we had a similarily unpopular admin and owner named Korn.

Yes, just please make sure you use the same email address for both accounts. You can choose a different username, if you want, or I can delete the inactive "Mel" account that apparently exists over there (created by someone else), just let me know.
Yes, you will be able to use your VV account, as long as no one else has already taken your username over there. (There is currently no "Amy SF" on VF.) If that is the case for anyone, all hope is not lost as I can delete the other account if it's inactive. On the other hand, if the username belongs to an active account, then I'm afraid you'll have to find a new username, but this is a worst-case scenario.
As long as you're sure it's inactive, you can delete the other "Mel". I would like to keep my username if possible.
