I'm so impressed with the beautiful bags and awesome gifts. Can't wait for my box to arrive!
Am I the only one who's already looking forward to the Christmas exchange?

I was already thinking about the next exchange as well. I had an idea at the office that I was wondering if we could implement. It would be really fun to do a hand-made craft exchange. I know not everyone here does a craft, like I do with my knitting, but we could expand it to include crafts made by your family members or local artists. Nearly everyone has SOMEONE in their area that sells artwork, or needlecrafts, or handmade soaps or jams, or nifty jewelry from recycled things. It would be fun, unique and it would be supporting local artists who could definitely use a boost in today's economy. I thought it might be nice to do as part of the Christmas exchange, since holiday craft fairs are common this time of year. Thoughts, anyone?
I would rather participate in a handmade only exchange. Money is an issue for a lot of people now and the trend has become to send a massive box of food which, although nice to receive, costs a lot. And people feel bad if they've stuck to the spending recommendation and others have sent a lavish parcel. I can't see myself being able to participate in these unless there is a spending/item limit that people stick to. If we say it has to be homemade or local, that should result in much smaller but more special packages.

I am glad you liked it. Those pretzel chips are one of my new favorite snacks, because they are tasty and crunchy but not super unhealthy. I was introduced to nag champa incense by my yoga instructor friend who used to burn some before and during class. Now I use it at home on days I want to just breathe deeply and relax. As far as the knitted goodies... everyone needs a good scarf if they live where it's chilly, plus sometimes they are just a fun accessory. Just a warning about the bag, I was still questioning the stability of the strap when I sent it, but if for some reason it comes apart on you, the bag would double as a really nice pillowcase, pajama bag, or even pet bed, if you put a small pillow or some old clothes in it. See that? Multipurpose ^_-
I got my parcel from Virpukka this morning. I had just made myself some tea and was looking for something sweet to eat with it and the doorbell rang so it was perfect timing.
I was so impressed by the blue bag which Virpukka made herself! I'm going to use that when I next go out. The homemade card was so cute too. Half the treats have been devoured already. I'm about to make a pot of tea with the tea she sent me.
Thank you so much!xxxxx
^You're very welcome! I'm happy to hear that it arrived safely and that you enjoy it! Honestly I had more to send , but I ran out of room in the box for it all. I wasn't a fan of that Chocolate Berry Earl Grey tea so it's great to know you like it and that it's not going to go to waste hanging around my cabinet. I'm so glad you like everything. I am disappointed that I didn't get a post card for you though. I couldn't find anywhere around here that sells them. I will continue to be on the look out though for one and as soon as I get it I will mail it out to you.
I'm looking forward to the next exchange!
