Favorite YouTube Vegan

I don't think they're around anymore, but Wise made chive and onion wavy chips (crisps) that were like sour creme and onion, but vegan.
Now Lays has Funyums flavored wavy chips that are vegan. Funyums were my favorite snack!

I must say, plain Fritos were so appreciated when I first went vegan! That little bag was so filling, and most vending machines had them

yeah, my honey loves the plain Fritos - they don't have maltodextrine either

What's a "Sheila"? what's "twee"?
Like in Rainbow Plant Life she did this baby talk thing once and I can't ever watch it again.

Whilst I still tune in, that baby talk thing is cringe personified. Or as I said, twee.

I'm on my phone and can't do a link, but I started watching Derek Sarno videos yesterday. He is a plant based chef and has a really cute dog.

We have started watching him the last couple of weeks and absolutely love him. Such a wonderful attitude, cute dog, and his recipes make our mouths water. He often uses more oil than I would however always says "if you don't use oil....." and I appreciate that.

He is:
Work with Chef Derek Sarno | Menu Creation | Collaborations
the Senior Global Executive Chef for Whole Foods Market in the USA and Director of Plant-Based Innovation for Tesco PLC in the U.K.

which makes me wonder if he is responsible for the roasted pepper, red onion, harissa and hummus sandwiches that I love so much and try to emulate at home.

Derek is awesome. And he and his brother started "Wicked foods". Unfortunately they aren't in Sweden yet, but I tried the range last time back in the UK and it's pretty good.

This is Nicole aka Veganbeautygirl. I watch her videos a lot. She is a British vegan woman and activist.

I actually walked past her at the recent Taylor Swift concert in London the other week as I know she is a big Taylor Swift fan too. :D

In no particular order:
- The Korean Vegan
- Earthling Ed
- Joey Carbstrong
- Fit Green Mind
- Carleigh Bardugo
- Anjali Harikumar
- The Little Vegan

and, finally, two special mentions:
- Alex O'Connor (former vegan YouTuber)
- Genetically Modified Skeptic (he made one video on veganism and is currently vegan)

I guess it's being old, but I'm really over the current fad of posting nothing but "reels". I don't want to watch silly short videos, I like my YT content to be something a little more substantial than 15 seconds worth. Same of Facebook where too many pages just post reels every hour or two. It's a chaotic mess. Why can't they go back to posting something more meaningful?

Speaking of FB, who/what are the most influential/popular vegan FB pages/groups these days? The ones I know of are

Earthling Ed (not so active these days)
Joey Carbstrong
The Vegan Project
The Hopeful Herbivore
The Vegan Widow

Of course there are some very popular vegan recipe pages and I like those, but I am more thinking about vegan "influencers".

I watched two videos the other day of vegans that I used to follow and stopped. Simnett Nutrition and Cheap Lazy Vegan. They were both quite interesting so I started following them again.:)

I LOVE Cheap Lazy Vegan. I make so many of her recipes. Her sushi rectangles are delicious! I also use her version of homemade Just Egg with a few tweaks. I need to check out more of Simnett Nutrition. I remember liking a couple of videos I'd seen.

I haven't watched much CLV lately but I still subscribe to her newsletter.
It appears that she has become quite adept at monetizing her YouTube. (no disrespect).
I wish I could go to Fiji every year
