US Guns in the U.S.

A police officer was fired for not murdering a suicidal man with a gun.
What Mader did upon arriving at the scene is a hell of a lot braver course of action than simply opening fire when the suspect doesn’t immediately disarm. What Mader did is in fact exactly what we want cops to do when someone is in crisis. It’s also precisely what law enforcement officers say they do on a daily basis — put themselves at risk in order to save lives. Mader should have been given a medal. Unfortunately, two more cops then showed up, and quickly shot Williams dead.

One dead after customer opens fire at Las Vegas Starbucks

A Starbucks customer in Las Vegas, allegedly enraged after his credit card was declined, walked inside the store and opened fire, killing one person, police said.

The shooting happened Sunday, after the suspect tried to order at the store's drive-through window.

An employee gave the man his order at no charge, but the man — still enraged — parked his car and entered the shop, police said.

Mass shootings since Sandy Hook, in one map

Their interactive map shows the mass shootings in this country just since 2013... it's mind-boggling.

It's a madness in this country, the unwillingness to do anything about this issue. When Sandy Hook wasn't enough to motivate people, I realized that nothing would.

From what I've read in certain dark corners of the Internet, Sandy Hook was a "false flag" and all the victims were actors. So it simply didn't happen, it was fake news! :tinfoilhat:

It's not just the dark corners of the Internet. I have met at least two people IRL who believe that. (I say "at least two", because I have no way of knowing what people believe if the subject doesn't come up.)

They believe it was made up in an effort to get people to support gun control.

I worked with the mother of one of the teachers killed that day, and I can't tell you how this belief enrages me.

It makes my blood boil too. IMO, it's the ultimate insult to those families and friends who lost loved ones in that horrible, tragic act of violence.

I think I may have posted this next video quite some time back... I'll do it again. It's the animated segment (from South Park creators) in Michael Moore's Bowling For Columbine....
