Good videos MadamSarcastra. (A minor correction: the creators of South Park did not do that video, a fact I happened to stumble across googling after watching the video for the first time, haven't seen it before.)

Yup, you're right. My bad. I just assumed because Matt Stone was in "Bowling For Columbine" briefly.

South Park co-creator Matt Stone—who grew up in Littleton—agreed to talk with Moore about his hometown and the shooting in the film. Although he did not feel that Moore mischaracterized him or his statements in the film, he harbored ill feelings about the cartoon "A Brief History of the United States of America". Both Stone and his fellow South Park creator Trey Parker felt that the cartoon was done in a style very similar to theirs. Also, its proximity to Stone's interview may have led some viewers to believe, incorrectly, that they created the cartoon. "It was a good lesson in what Michael Moore does in films. He doesn't necessarily say explicitly this is what it is, but he creates meaning where there is none by cutting things together," Stone remarked in a later interview.

The number of people dead range from 20-25. The number of people injured is about 30. The shooter apparently killed himself when cornered by the police.

After the NY massacre we had a name, ethnicity, and picture of the driver. Nothing said here said yet of the gunman?

Based on the restraint shown in dt's tweets, I assume the killer is an American born, white, non-Muslim male.

It's confirmed that the shooter was a white, American born male. He used an assault rifle.

At least five people are dead following shootings at multiple locations in Tehama County, including an elementary school where at least two children were wounded.

Authorities described a chaotic scene in which a gunman appeared to pick targets at random in the rural Northern California county. They said the shootings appear to have begun as a “domestic violence incident” but did not provide details.

The gunman was fatally shot by sheriff’s deputies. His name has not been released. The Tehama County Sheriff’s Office said it was dealing with at least five crime scenes and was trying to assess the number of casualties.

Tehama County Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnston did not have a total number of victims, but said that “a number” of students had been medically evacuated from the school grounds. A semi-automatic rifle and two handguns that the gunman carried were recovered at one scene, he said.
