Just so everyone knows up front...they all make it safely across. But I have to say, it's hard to watch in a few places. Incredible!

I saw this on FB earlier; pretty intense and scary, I watched through my fingers for just about the whole thing.
Epitome of the phrase "lucky duck", these ducks are.

There have been times I fully expected to die following/crossing those roads. Though they seem to have picked a day when something had taken it down by one lane.

I'm surprised nobody slowed down or swerved to avoid hitting them. I'm assuming they were just driving way too fast to even notice them? I know that's not the best move, but that would be my first instinct if I saw them.

I don't think we'd see slowing down from that angle unless they just slammed on the brakes at the last second. The cars were only in the video for a very short distance.

Swerving suddenly on a freeway is... probably not conductive to safety. From a greater distance you could change lanes if you saw them, but I don't think we'd likely notice anyone who did that either.

There were some cars that appeared to have moved over to the extreme of their lane to avoid them, but as K-II said, the camera angle wouldn't show a whole lot of what people were doing to avoid hitting them.

I wonder how this video was taken? Why the focus on this particular spot at this particular time?I sincerely hope that this wasn't set up, endangering these ducks' lives for some bit of video to be posted online.

Wow I was holding my breath! A residential street near me has a bunch of peacocks living there that stroll across the road. Everyone seems to stop (speed limit 30mph), and locals stick their arm out the window and flap like a bird so those behind them know why they've stopped. :D

They have the same bunch over at my cousin's in California and everyone slows done. They are just such a gorgeous site when you're drving in the neighbourhood and they seem to feel so at home.
