I noticed that are a bunch of music nerds  that post regularly on here and there wasn't a place to just to nerd out about our favorite bands and music. I hope to rectify that with this thread. Without further ado....

Hehe, I'm in!
Ok, so here's a question for y'all. Which bands/artists have you seen in concert the most?
I'm in double digits (yeah, I'm old, lol) for the following bands:
Alice In Chains, Metallica, Nine Inch Nails, Pearl Jam, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Porcupine Tree, Neil Young, Yes, Hurt, Isis, Floater (those are all the ones I can think at the moment)

Double digits for Tori Amos, Rachael Sage, Anais Mitchell and Thea Gilmore. Between 5 and 9 for Ella Edmondson, Po' Girl, Heather Nova, Ana Silvera, Billy Bragg, Mostly Autumn, British Sea Power, Emmy the Great and Eileen Rose.

I've seen Ana Silvera 7 times this year and will be seeing her twice again before the new year.

I love Neil Young but have only seen him twice. I'm hoping he comes over the UK to promote his new album.

I don't go to so many shows now because I'm a homebody, and I never had the money to go to a lot of shows when I wanted to.

I've seen Tori Amos seven times, and Poi Dog Pondering maybe ten times. I have seen Chris Isaak three times, and several people once. My favorite, other than Tori, was Fiona Apple, who I just saw this past summer.

Probably Ozzy. I haven't gone to a lot of shows because of lack of free money, but I've seen Ozzy 3 years in a row at Ozzfest, 2 times solo and once with Black Sabbath

I'm not into music as much as I used to be but I've seen NIN about five times, three of the times was in one year. I've seen The Prodigy, Linkin Park and Blur twice. I'm seeing Marilyn Manson for the second time next month.

You've been to see Yes 10+ times? Respect! :)

I used to have a very narrow taste in music. I've been to two concerts with Yes and also two with Jethro Tull.

I love Jethro Tull. I've seen them 4 times. This reminds me that I've seen Fairport Convention around a dozen times too, mostly at their annual festival, Fairport's Cropredy Convention, in Oxfordshire which I atttend every year.

Yup, I was obsessed with Yes when I was in high school and college and still love them. Very cool on Jethro Tull. Never have seen Tull.

Cerebellion, I loved Ozzfest. I went a couple of times, including in Jersey when Rob Halford had to fill in for Ozzy. Pretty epic set!

I got to see Pantera, Slayer, Sabbath's reunion, and got to smoke a joint with Rob Zombie at Ozzfests throughout the years. Good times

I seriously doubt I'm a music nerd, but I feel like crashing the party. :p

I've probably seen Poison the most times, mainly because my teenaged daughter was in love with Brett Michaels and I wouldn't let her go alone. Truth be told, I thought he was pretty cute. :D Along with Poison was Warrant, Lita Ford and I'm forgetting the name of the other group. Ahhh...I remembered...Guns and Roses.

For myself, I saw Sonny and Cher, Elton John, Billy Joel.

I'm not cool enough to be a music nerd either, and I've only seen bands one or twice. Many great shows, including The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Kinks, Grateful Dead, Joni Mitchell, Mountain, The Animals, The Clash, Doobie Brothers, Jeff Beck, J Geils Band, Rod Stewart, Santana and a ton of others, I'm so old!

Eta I never saw Yes! although I was obsessed with Roundabout!

Sounds most excellent to me. Believe me, I'm not even remotely sneaking up on cool. If I were cool, I'd have done something besides sitting around listening to music for the last 15 years

I love music but have never been financially able to attend many live concerts. I am ancient so the bands I have seen are as follows: Sly and the Family Stone, Sly passed out on stage and was carried off!! :D An excellent unknown opening act put on a much better show - Mason Proffit; The Grateful Dead, so much smoke in the air.... :D; Jethro Tull, awesome! Alice Cooper; and Kiss.

As a teen I saw The Lemon Pipers, and The Box Tops. :D
