My husband just told me that Michelle Trachtenberg has died. She was only 39. I was thinking about her the other day as I was wondering who would be in the Buffy remake.
I saw that on tonight's news. I don't know who she is but googled her cause of death and apparently she had a liver transplant and it may be due to complications.

I remember Richard Chamberlain in "Dr. Kildare" and "Shogun" (my family watched them both), and once heard his rendition of the "Dr. Kildare" theme (he had a good singing voice). Inevitably, kids my age (as well as MAD magazine, IIRC) sometimes referred to the show as "Dr. Killjoy".
