They don't have anything to do with veg/veganism as far as I am aware. The Duggars are a family with strict religious views who have a reality TV show called 19 Kids and Counting. I hadn't heard of them before I joined the VB forum but apparently they are quite well known in the US.

If you're assuming civilization continues for several centuries longer and those 20 kids have an average of even 3 kids, down the line you're producing a very large amount of humans. Each child counts. One of the reasons you shouldn't have more than one child at this point.

But, I must say, I have not seen any of these shows so far.

I think that the Duggars play a role in population debates because of what they represent, not because of those particular lives.

In addition, they, and particularly this son, who has had a prominent role in the Family Research Council an has been a political spokesman in opposition to same sex marriage, abortion rights and other social conservative causes, have been rallying figures for social conservatives. Yes. But yesterday this judge ordered the records to be destroyed, not sealed. That's an entirely different matter.

Well, TLC HAS responded. They've pulled the show off the air for an indefinite period of time. Not officially cancelled AFAIK, but I'm hoping it will be, eventually.

I don't think for a minute this was a one time thing in the past, not with the number of girls he molested that we know about. I think his kids are in danger as well as any female friends they bring over.

At least one of these scumbags, Mike Huckabee, still stands with Josh Duggar, and believes that molesting children is merely a mistake, like getting an order wrong at Starbucks, or coming home late on a school night.

To be clear, sexual curiosity in children is normal. All children explore their bodies and may engage in visual or even manual exploration of a sibling at times. This is one way that children discover sexual differences between boys' and girls' anatomies. Even siblings of the same gender become curious about variations in shapes and sizes of their sex organs. Two small children exploring each other's bodies does not predestine them to a life of emotional suffering.
