As we say: "Tzarstviye nebesnoye, lyogkoye lezhaniye" ("[Let him arrive in] the kingdom of heaven, let lying [in the ground] be easy for him").Yesterday (November 26th) was the 25th anniversary of my adopting my cat Riley. He was a long-haired gray-and-white cat whose current owner couldn't keep him anymore. My own cat had passed just a month earlier and I wasn't really ready to adopt anybody else just yet, but he was a good cat. Supposedly he was a year old, but I'm not sure about that. Yesterday and today, I drank a mug of strong catnip tea in his memory.
