He ate a little bowl of kale, strawberries and collard greens. 
I was told about a bird that could not fly, so I took him in. I kept him for 2 weeks, then he recovered and I set him free. I took him to the vet tech at the college, he looked at his wings and they were not damaged. I fed him apples and meal worms, then he got better. I got seed for him too but I wasn't sure if he was actually eating it.

That is a lovely gesture.
Perhaps you could set up a rescue group with other like minded people. There are two private groups in Brighton that rescue wildlife in their spare time. They literally have saved dozens of animals each and every month.He/she is absolutely gorgeous.

OMG I'm dying right now. This is the cutest thing I've ever seen. Ever. I'm glad they are not available to get as a pet here because I would not be able to resist.
This is what happens when one cat chases a terrified squirrel. It gets trapped between two fences and cannot escape.
Thankfully, a rescuer got him out in the nick of time before he injured himself.
Poor baby.
Indeed. I don't think that he would have had a happy ending if it weren't for the wonderful rescue group in Brighton. It was a lovely
lady who went to his rescue and freed him.
