The Everything Animal Thread

Oh boy...I just did something I never thought I'd do. I contacted a news station about this...
I also posted it on my fb page in hopes that it will spread and get more attention. šŸ¤žšŸ»šŸ¤žšŸ»šŸ¤žšŸ»

Has there been TNR in your area? With people dedicated to feeding, sheltering these cats? Trapping them and expecting to kill if not adopted is horrifically drastic! It's worse that they don;t have laws that cats need to kept inside or leashed!
There will be many other casualties--skunks, raccoons, woodchucks, maybe fox? In Ohio once these wild animals are trapped they have to be killed, not released

This is about 30 minutes from where I live. From what I can tell they don't have a tnr program.
The news station I messaged did post on it and now animal control is backpedaling saying the cats won't be euthanized. I'm not sure I trust them though.

I wouldn't trust them, either. I'm not surprised they are backpedaling, as they probably got a lot of negative reaction to their plan.
