I had a visitor this afternoon. Mama raccoon! I hope she brings her babies at some point.
This is about 30 minutes from where I live. From what I can tell they don't have a tnr program.Has there been TNR in your area? With people dedicated to feeding, sheltering these cats? Trapping them and expecting to kill if not adopted is horrifically drastic! It's worse that they don;t have laws that cats need to kept inside or leashed!
There will be many other casualties--skunks, raccoons, woodchucks, maybe fox? In Ohio once these wild animals are trapped they have to be killed, not released

The news station I messaged did post on it and now animal control is backpedaling saying the cats won't be euthanized. I'm not sure I trust them though.
