Same here. I can still make "butter" cookies that are to die for. I always made the three layer tri-colored ones but have not had real success veganizing them. Still trying, though. And I can do a fair version of what some people call Tirallis or Anginettes (the soft round ones with icing and sprinkles). We just call them Italian cookies and use anisette flavoring but can also be lemon flavored. They also come in different shapes. Some make them into knots but I was always too lazy.One thing I miss about being a kid during Christmas is the neverending supply of Italian Christmas cookies.

I actually don't feel as Christmasy as I usually do...the spirit is there is just a lower key than normal.
