Health Issues The Everything Covid 19 Thread

As soon as my mom has "pulled the soul out of me" (by harrassing me the whole evening, uuggghhh),- this video👇made me burst into tears (can't stop crying, blin). One of our student-girls (of choreography department) made this video about love, friendship, true values and good memories, because they all are not sure how soon they will see each other again. Considering that i know these (and many more) children personally, and we've been through a lot together (tours to another towns, recitals, classes, exams),- i'll be missing them all. The matter is that kids can feel the same as adults, and they all are scared too (i heard them say it).
Take a look: the video is childish, yet very touching. I don't know if the link will play correctly, but the Instagram video consists of 3 parts (divided into 3 different pieces).

Hanks traveled to Australia with a Corona typewriter. Nope, this isn't a *wink wink* moment. It's all real! Check it for yourself, it's up on twitter now.

+ 600 people died in Italy yesterday. 17 doctors have also lost their lives. Cuban doctors are on their way to help the medical personnel who are overworked and overwhelmed. Doctors from southern Italy and end of year medical students are being sent to the north to help. They are also tightening their lockdown mesures and people are no longer allowed to go to parks or jog outside of their neighbourhood.

If nations do not put their population into a lock down, other countries will most probably have the numbers. None of the health services can cope with so many patients that require ICU all at one time. Moreover, they are now seeing patients in their 30's and 40's being admitted.

A neuro surgeon in Lombardy who is now only working in a ICU unit has told a news reporter that all nations should be in a lockdown.

People should be social distancing despite it still being possible to go to events or places where there are groups.

Speaking of Italy...

I know someone that lives there. I've never met him, but I've communicated with him, and he is the founder and an administrator for cluesforum.info. He goes by "Simon Shack", and he has been instrumental in exposing the media deception regarding 9/11 with his September Clues Documentary.

He has a facebook page and most of his recent posts are on the Covid-19 scenario. He believes it is a farce.

Here is a March 19th post from cluesforum.info:

THE SURREAL OFFICIAL DATA FOR THE COVID-19 "PANDEMIC"

Only six days ago (March 13, 2020), the President of the ISS (Istituto Superiore della SanitĂ  - the leading technical-scientific body of the Italian National Health Service stated that only 2 persons might have died DUE to the COVID-19.
"Le persone morte a causa del coronavirus in Italia, che non presentavano altre patologie, potrebbero essere solo due."
https://www.agenzianova.com/a/5e6bd613a ... dmrxhw9rpc

Yesterday, the ISS stated that only 12 persons who died in Italy after having contracted this coronavirus had no previous ailments that determined their demise.
"Sono «soltanto» 12 le persone morte in Italia dopo essere stati colpiti dal coronavirus che non presentavano patologie pregresse che ne spieghino la fine." https://www.lastampa.it/cronaca/2020/03 ... O57h4002KQ

In stark contrast, according to the data released by the W.H.O. we should now have well over 3000 (???) casualties due to the COVID-19 virus in Italy.

This has to be the most mis-managed global hoax of all times.

They said on the news yesterday, that in Italy, it's being done something similar to what was done during WWII, in mobile surgical army hospitals. "They're trying to save only those, who are worth saving yet". (end of quote).🥺

Obviously, this is actually common utilitarian principle used in medical fields, especially during a crisis. Advanced Triage pretty much operates on disregarding those with low odds of survival with medical care, prioritizing those who need assistance and have good odds survival if received medical aid. That said I'm not sure on what evidence statement is predicated on, is there actual evidence of hospitals applying some different method based on a different criteria or just media said it?

Either way, still not affected by this whole affair, outside perhaps external hysteria affecting functioning of the various organisations and sheeple acting like Nuclear holocaust is soon to occur emptying many shelves in shops (fortunately they seemed to calm down after the first week).

It really bothers me to say this because I never want to be on trump’s side, but I feel like the reporter was baiting him, and in true trump fashion, he delivered. I just can’t jump on the I hate trump bandwagon for every single thing. And it really pains me.

Yeah, i saw this disgusting scene. If by "baiting" you mean provocative things that are being said in order to "make a sensational news and rasing ratings",- then i agree. And just look at the faces this reporter was making while Trump was telling him off! That worth seeing (or not worth). Bleh...:hurl: I felt nauseated after watching that whole scene.:yuck:

This won’t open for me...I think it’s a wifi issue, but I can only imagine the heartbreak. It’s so distressing.

The following extract of the article sums it up :

''Their families haven't been able to pay their last respects or say goodbye. They can't because they are in lockdown quarantine.

It's a recurring theme now, everyone dies alone.

Time and again doctors and nurses hold back tears as they describe the anguish they feel for their patients who are dreadfully scared and lonely in their last hours.''

I'm not sure the reporter was baiting him or not. but regardless, Trump's response was inappropriate. I realize the maybe through repetition we have gotten used to Trump's name-calling, insults, and lies, but those are still not appropriate ways to answer a question. Especially by a President. Especially during a crisis.

I was in no way suggesting his response was appropriate.

Are you referring to what happened in 43 minute of the video? As I enjoy trump smacking the media and I care little for putting the front, I don't see question as illegitimate and response as warranted. Trump could have responded rationally by explaining why there is little reason to worry outside of those with weak immune system including older demographics, outlying taking effective precautions for those groups to take. Of course, media would most likely eat him alive and it would be negatively perceived by the public if he said that because it would be blasted as "insensitive". Populous can be quite irrational when it comes to problem solving and when someone is not adhering to some nonsensical courtesy standards.

It's a typical question reporters ask presidents every time there's a crises: it gives presidents the opportunity to say something reassuring/inspiring. Only, of course, trump isn't able to do that, so he sees it as a personal attack instead.
