Sows, paralysed from the hindquarters, are pushed through the corridors of the slaughterhouse with kicks and electric prods. The latter is used in all circumstances on all parts of the body and intentionally in the anus and the eyes of the animals.

The slaughterhouse facilities are not adapted to the size of the animals. Pigs get completely stuck in the corridors that they have to be killed on the spot.

Sows are given extremely painful shocks when they are stunned.

We are filing a complaint for serious abuse and we are appealing against the veterinary services who let this happen. A 2016 report by the veterinary services had already identified the dysfunctions that continue to exist 5 years later.

Let's demand the closure of this slaughterhouse and the holding of an audit of all slaughterhouses in France. Urgent action is needed!
