TV & Film The TV Room

I caught up with all the network shows and "Dark Wind." Watching "1923" the "Yellowstone" prequel. Both really good. "1923" deals with immigration back then but it is kind of relevant to today. It is also the time of prohibition and the rise of organized crime and the beginning of big corporations. Very interesting period of history.

we started watching The Residence on Netflix last night - the first episode was funny and the second my honey fell asleep and it seemed a big draggy - we may try again tonight - has anyone else watched it?

Really enjoying the Waltons but I don't like that they replaced John Boy with another actor, grandpa died and grandma got phased out. And the Olivia (Michael Learned) is hardly in it. But it's still good...a lot about WWII...very meaningful storylines.

Watched the finale of "1823" and it had me in tears. Very emotional and tragic. Next installment will be "1944" and the new generation and it is pretty obvious what the show will be about. I am really invested in the Dutton family!

We finally finished The Good Wife. That was a terrible finale. What a disappointment after spending so much time watching it all.🤐

This is interesting and I hope it doesn't affect a new season of this great show!
Noah Wyle was in ER, right? I don't know if I'm getting it mixed up with St Elsewhere

I'm not sure that I ever watched the end of ER. Noah Wyle was in it as Dr Carter.

I loved ER and I love The Pitt as well! I don't see how this lawsuit can hold up as she would have to sue ALL the doctor shows as ER was an inspiration to many!
