Ukraine

You can't exaggerate much more than this. Obviously the Indians have suffered more and I could see a person arguing the Russians have suffered more as well since their governments have been very brutal at times. I understand Jews have been victims at times, but a person still shouldn't greatly exaggerate their suffering.

Wow.

I think that you need to do a lot more reading.

Are you just talking about US history? Do you know anything about the history of the Jews before WW2?

Out of every three Jews living in Europe in 1939, two of them would be killed in the Final Solution within the next six years.

Exaggeration? Seems legit.

It's not like the Jews had it great before Nazi Germany either. Ever heard of the Spanish Inquisition? Or the expulsion of Jews from England, to use another example that may be familiar to Western English speakers? How about the other nations that also prohibited Jews?

Seriously, are you getting your view of history from Stormfront? Because first the Hitler BS, and now your remark about not being able to exaggerate much more when it comes to antisemitism and it's effects makes me wonder what your source is.

Reactions: Mischief
We also have to include the Palestine conflict, Jews in Communist governments, and any problems bankers have caused. I'd obviously have to know the truth about history before talking about who the victims are. There's many conspiracy theories about this subject, and I have no idea whether they're true.

I did read. Playing victim. Woe is me. It all fits in together.

I haven't been following this thread that much but I just saw this and shame on you RF for saying such an awful comment. It's embarrassing to read some of your views.

+1.

Shame on you! Living in your safe little bubble. I suppose you are a Holocaust denier, too. And the Jews are undoubtedly secretly running Hollywood and the banking industry just to ruin little rainforest's life? Why not get up off your whiny soapbox and go *do something* meaningful to help the native Americans then, since that's the group you seem to care about.

I may just use the block feature for the first time in all my years on many different forums. I have rarely been so disgusted.

Wow, things are really heating up. :(

" Russia has ordered new military exercises on its border with Ukraine in response to an operation by Kiev against pro-Russian separatists.

Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said Moscow had been "forced to react" after Ukrainian commandos moved on the separatist stronghold of Sloviansk.

President Vladimir Putin had earlier warned Ukraine of "consequences"...

"...Pro-Russian separatists are occupying key buildings in a dozen eastern towns, defying the central government."
The exercises will be in Russia's southern and western military districts, with Mr Shoigu adding that "the air force will conduct flights to train for manoeuvres along the state borders".

Ukraine's acting President, Olexander Turchynov, called on Russia to pull back its troops from the border and end what he called its "blackmail", adding that Kiev would not yield to "Russian-backed terrorists."

If they can't or won't take those buildings back with force, and the rest of the world is unwilling or unable to help militarily, they might as well yield. When armed people are holding government buildings, your country is occupied. At this point, they exist only on paper. The time for talk is gone. Either fight back with lethal force, or surrender to move to the next point with as little violence as possible.

Has the United States or EU ever endorsed an election where the results don't favor the side they want to win?

The US has recognized elections where a leader they don't want to win has come to power. I believe the EU has as well, if the general reaction to right-wing leaders getting elected is any example.

There's a difference between strongly disliking someone and not wanting someone to win. When Hamas was elected nobody seemed thrilled with that. They're not too thrilled with a few instances in Ukraine either. We only like Democracy as long as it suits our interests.

There's a difference in not being thrilled, and disputing the results.

As far as I know, the only election the US & EU have disputed in Ukraine is the Crimean one. Which is suspicious as hell.
