I didn't mean yeast baking but traditional tea breads like sultana tea bread etc.
They are very easy to make and you can omit the egg and substitute it with various other ingredients.
Mary's tea cake has bags of fruit plumped up in Earl Grey tea. Then it’s a quick stir-together job and a couple of hours later, voila, the perfect tea loaf.
