My local supermarket has they're own house-brand line of egg rolls. I checked the ingredient list for the vegetable variety- and they're VEGAN. I bought some last night, and they'll be part of my Veganuary 2025 celebration.
Edited to add (after your "friendly" smiley, @shyvas ): I had to do a bit of searching for them. They were next to the "seafood" section in the freezer- not in the "Chinese" or "Appetizer" sections...
Aldi is far better than Lidl's when it comes to vegan food. I usually do most of my shopping at the Brighton branch. Sadly, they have discontinued their vegan sausage rolls at the instore bakery. Their smoked tofu is the best ever and at only 99 p or when on SO at 75p, it's a deal.
We are lucky that we live very near an Aldi now. I think they had put a lot of new vegan stock out. We did get one of the vegan pizzas too. I forgot to include it in the pic.
The ice cream bars from Aldi was very nice. They are like a version of the Mars ice cream bars. They taste to me like more of a choc ice.
I tried some of the vegan salmon on a cracker without anything else to taste it properly. I don't really remember much about salmon apart from that I found it slimy. This plant based version seems slimy as well, but it tastes very fishy to both of us. We both didn't like it, but that might mean that people who eat fish or flexitarians might find it a good replacement.
Our signature hemp dough is packed with nutrients, flavour, and a satisfyingly wholesome texture. Earthy, nutty, and downright irresistible.
