I'm on a blues kick now, been listening to a mess of old and new music (though mostly old). Some of the artists are Billie Holiday, Etta James, Blind Willie McTell, Dinah Washington, Fats Waller, Howlin' Wolf, Big Brother and The Holding Company (Janis Joplin), Koko Taylor, Joss Stone, Joe Bonamassa, John Lee Hooker, Little Walter, Nina Simone, Les Paul, Susan Tedeschi, Junior Wells, Jonny Lang, Robert Johnson, Ike and Tina Turner, Bobby Bland, Memphis Minnie plus a few more.
Right now I'm listening to Beth Hart, She is probably my favorite of the current crop blues singers.
