Nightside Jazz & Blues on CMU Public Radio.... it's blues night. I'll have it on the ancient (as old as I) Grundig radio in the kitchen while I'm makin' the foodlies... until they play something really cliche'.... then I'll switch to my slightly-less-ancient phone....

The Ocean's Thirteen original soundtrack.... I dig all the flicks, and I often have the scores (by David Holmes) jammin' in the background when I'm cooking. Nothin' like a couple 15-20 minute instrumental groove-fests whereas I don't have to touch my phone too often, if at all.... LOL

GodDAMN!! Well, this was the version.... public radio plays the most awesome **** during pledge time.... so %^#*%^#(ing AWESOME!! I'm groovin', got groceries, makin' a pizza, little tipsy, gettin' my groove on.... kick ***.

I was just listening to some Alan Parsons Project (and also some solo Alan Parsons). Started listening to "Time" but then remembered it's too depressing, so I went to "To One In Paradise" (the last track from "Tales Of Mystery And Imagination") and then "Siren Song", which I wasn't familiar with but popped up as a google suggestion.

Wierd... "Paradise" would seem to be quite sad, but somehow it doesn't seem dark to me... even though some of the last lyrics are "Nothing can save me now", the song gives me the impression that there is still hope. "Time" doesn't give me that vibe.

1982.... full show.
I'm just gonna leave this playing, but I need to cook... my late-night-kitchen radio isn't playin' anything I wanna hear. No Prince on my old phone, but I will funk out for sure, to a few of his faves.
