Music What are you listening to now?

k.d. lang singing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" (from Hymns of the 49th Parallel album).

Here's the same singer, same song, but a different, live performance.

OMFG, I'm still laughing.... was laughing so hard, tears were streaming, almost dropped a potful of scalding pasta....

Ok, so it's the Fresh Air interview with Meryl Streep today, and they played a clip from her upcoming movie Florence Foster Jenkins.... horrible off-key songstress who had quite the cult following.... I remember hearing an album at the house of my folks' good friend, and he & my father had rivers of tears streaming down their cheeks from laughing so hard.... I just had the same experience. I'm still giggling.

Found the full interview... if you want to just hear the horrendously hilarious song clip, click the PLAY button & skip ahead to 14:17... there's a bit of set-up, "aria" follows about a minute later.

Wear Your Love Like Heaven by Donovan
Heard it on our local oldies radio the other day and omg, I was just a wee girl when my older cousins played this album Donovan's Greatest Hits and I instantly fell in love with him and all these songs. So I immediately downloaded it and have been listening to it these past few days....:smitten:

Didn't listen to this yet, but I adore Meryl (and Hugh Grant) and can't wait to see this movie.

I heard this song for the first time in ages the other day and keep listening to it while I'm exercising.:tomato:
