Whatcha Eatin?

Brown rice and edamame. And wouldn’t you know….first time in probably two years since I tried brown rice again, and guess what I found in there…a disgusting, yucky hull. 😡 Luckily I was almost finished so it didn’t ruin my dinner. Why does it have to happen every single time?!?!?! :yuck::down:

Someone should get the word out that "whole food" or "organic" DOES NOT MEAN "the producer can ignore the usual sanitation procedures of food production". I think I almost hurt a tooth once when, apparently, a piece of walnut shell wound up in my "it's organic, man!!!! ORGANIC" rice.

Between the rice hulls and the watermelon, you've had some bad luck with food lately. I'm sorry about that.

I have been trying to eat down on our food stores before we order more shopping. I still have a courgette, a beef tomato, a cucumber and four potatoes left in the fridge. A box of shredded iceberg lettuce too.

I think I will have a falafel salad with a GF wrap for lunch and then make something with air fried potato wedges for dinner.

I had more watermelon and I am marinating some tofu in garlic powder, sweet chilli sauce and nutritional yeast ready for the air fryer. I'm trying nooch again. I had it in tofu scramble the other day and it wasn't all that bad!

I'm going to try the new GF bread I bought to make toast. Some of the GF stuff is quite nice, I have been surprised how much it has improved!
