Whatcha Eatin?

Well we are giving a bunch of dahlia bulbs to a neighbour down the road, it got me thinking 🤔 can yuh eat them .
Well according to google you can , peel them first then cook them or just eat them raw.

I made nachos for lunch with meatless grounds, Daiya shreds, home made salsa and Tofutti sour cream. I ate at noon and I'm still full! It may not have been the healthiest but it was very satisfying.

Peanut butter and tomato on toast for breakfast, now I'm nibbling on a banana. Lunch will be soup i think.
Oh my gosh! I literally, just this minute, saw someone post on Facebook about peanut butter and tomato! I had never heard of that combo until today.

I got really hungry, probably because I only had a half portion of oatmeal for breakfast and that never sticks with me long. So I decided instead of “snacking” I would just have an early lunch…or pre lunch…I made myself a salad. I’m enjoying it. Salad won’t stick with me very long either, though, so I’ll have a real lunch in about an hour or so, lol.

My O.H thinks I'm a weirdo with my food combos sometimes. One he can't understand at all is hot chili sauce on vanilla or chocolate ice cream. At the moment I'm craving peanut butter a lot, and it really does go well on salad sandwiches

I forgot to mention that our local produce (mainly from the Niagara Peninsula) is starting to come in and I was able to buy a container of small but tasty nectarines (about 12) for just $7 and same price for a container of about 20 small yellow plum - they are delicious and we have been eating a few of each every day

nope I had the leftover couscous to which I added half a can of chick peas

and today I had steel cut oats/split red lentils, dates, cranberries, frozen berries, banana, walnuts, etc and pb on toast
