Whatcha Eatin?

@Emma JC I was in Yahoo just now, and saw a news item that it was evidently lost shortly after take-off.

yes, true and yet it did way better than the first effort and therefore was actually a huge success without causing anywhere near the damage (environmental that they did the first time) - it would be better if we could just transport ourselves to different places without ships "beam me up, Scottie"

for brunch today we will have our beans on toast with Just Egg patties, orange/banana

A bowl of popcorn seasoned with nutritional yeast flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, a bit of salt and some hot sauce.
I have never known of a meal made out of popcorn until today.
To me it has always been salt of toffee flavoured sold in a bag (or making it yourself which is quite good fun)

Did you pop it yourself in the seasoning?

we often have just a bowl of homemade popcorn for dinner and we put on budder/garlic powder/onion powder/hot sauce - if we have a large late brek/lunch it is all we need, in fact it is what we had last night

today I have about to make my noodley soup - should be great as it is very cold today

I did not, though I have done it with salt on occasion. I love to add all kinds of flavorings to popcorn, mostly savory. I do like to occasionally buy kettle corn, which has a sweetness added to it along with the salt.

Maybe i could try adding popcorn to something savoury sometime.
To be honest i heve never given it much thought and often just walk past it in the supermarket without really taking much interest in it.

Red pepper hummous with avocado slices.
Very nice indeed.
I only just discovered hummous yesterday as there was one in the reduced rack. So went back in there today and bought another one also two soft avocados.

I have got a vegan vegetable thai cirry now for tonight so i hope the two pears do not end up too soft.

There is another one in my fridge that is too hard.

Ridiculous avocado pear situation. As usual.
