Jimmy Carter would choose Trump over Cruz: Jimmy Carter: I would choose Donald Trump over Ted Cruz

I agree with his reasoning.

Many members of the man's own party think he's bat **** crazy nuts. Didn't John McCain refer to him as a "wacko bird"? There's also stories from back in 2000 when Cruz worked on W's election campaign against Gore. W expressed a great dislike for him... If numerous members of his own party and allies in general can't ******* stand him, how would him being POTUS work out?

I decided to have a look at the odds before and after, according to the UK bookmakers.

Clinton is now slightly more favoured to win the nomination, but not that much difference.
Sanders is also now slightly more favoured too win the nomination, but again not that much difference since his win was already expected. He's gone from 20-22% chance to about 23-25% following yesterday.
Strange that they both got slightly better odds. I guess everyone else is done now and it's a 2-horse race.

According to the bookmakers, Rubio was the big loser of the day and Trump the big winner. Before yesterday, every single bookmaker had Rubio as the very clear favourite ahead of Trump, now it is the other way around and Trump is rated as having about a 40-45% chance of securing the nomination at this point, which is probably as high as he's been.

Ted Cruz is third favourite with a very small improvement to his odds.

Jeb Bush is 4th favourite, has gone from 12% chance to get the nomination to 15%.

Kasich I didn't check his odds before, but even now he is trailing even Jeb Bush by quite a lot.

Everyone else is done.

It's funny how Ben Carson was polling in the top 2 favourites at one stage, then a while later was the rank outsider. I am not sure what happened there.

Five things The Telegraph learnt from the NH primaries:
If Jeremy Corbyn were running, he would be smashed to smitherines!
Jeremy Corbyn is a dangerous socialist who will murder the UK's businesses
Jeremy Corbyn will tax the middle class, and your grandmother
Beware of Jeremy Corbyn, he's coming for your wallet
Jeremy Corbyn sells crack cocaine to school children

(Edit: OK, they didn't actually say any of that, but it's the kind of thing they would say, judging by their relentless propaganda headlines against the Labour party.)

The Telegraph is indeed very biased and right wing and pro-conservative, as is the Daily Mail, even though the latter is less explicitly political.
However we have the even more laughably biased and anti-conservative Daily Mirror to counteract things at the other end of the scale. The Guardian and Independent are also left leaning. Oh, and see your location says England. OK, I guess you already know this. Well, just for the benefit of others then.

I remember visiting the US one of the first times years ago and tuning into the hotel TV and Fox News came on. I just sat there in a daze, I honestly couldn't tell at first if I was watching some sort of spoof channel or if it was real. I was amazed because in the UK we have nothing as biased as that, it was hard to even believe. Pure propaganda.

I think US is worse for biased TV (although I largely base this on Fox News) and the UK is worse for newspapers.

Yeeeeah! Go Trump go! Make America Great Again!

I kid, I kid... But he's still better than slime ball extremist tea bagger Cruz, or Mr. Roboto Rubio.

We used to have the Fairness Doctrine that required a balance of opinions in the media, but Ronald Reagan killed it, which encouraged the rise of Fox News, which, despite its slogan, has never been fair or balanced.

Oh, and Chris Christie is out. Christie expected to drop presidential bid
