Agreed, the bickering is unnecessary, but maybe they think the polemic between the two camps helps spreading the more important part of the message which is, go plant based.I agree with most of what Jeff says I just don't appreciate his "I am right" attitude and people like Dr Gregor are wrong.... everyone has a contribution.

BTW not to be hypocrite on this issue I do have the impression, maybe wrong, that doctor Gregor reads studies without critical judgement, besides Jeff debunking several studies, my former dentist who is also a college teacher and very rigorous about these things denied a the information in one of his podcasts about teeth cavities and there is also the video below of doctor Neal Barnard actually analysing a study doctor Gregor cites and coming to a different conclusion.I agree with most of what Jeff says I just don't appreciate his "I am right" attitude and people like Dr Gregor are wrong.... everyone has a contribution.

Cut your fats, salt and sugar, get plenty of fiber in the form of wholefoods, exercise regularly and brush your teeth.r That's the basics. When you get too engrossed in details you fall down rabbit holes and find a ton of pointless arguments and debates with no clear answers. Make it easy on yourself and don't obsess about food then you will have time, energy and headspace free with which to live.
What has exercise got to do with a healthy vegan diet? I just wanted to show the simplicity of a healthy life generally - of course we do that without animal products. That sounds like wise advice. What's brushing the teeth got to do with a healthy vegan diet?

Yeah, I was comparing your question to something else I wrote that you didn't mention. The answer is, of course, the same. No, it was brushing your teeth. I suppose the answer will be the same.
Yeah, the brushing your teeth seems sort of random. What about flossing? Or regular visits to the Doctor?Cut your fats, salt and sugar, get plenty of fiber in the form of wholefoods, exercise regularly and brush your teeth. That's the basics. It wasn't random, it was because of a video somebody posted concerning a debate over tooth cavities. My post was about the basics being simple and flossing doesn't come into the basics. It might be more ideal but a lot of people don't do it and don't have problems. Regular visits to the doctor won't keep you healthy either and is an irrelevant distraction from what I was trying to say. It isn't about doctors and medicine that most people don't need most of the time, it is about what I do in my life to maintain good health.Yeah, the brushing your teeth seems sort of random.
My bad, I shouldn't have posted such a divisive video.my point was that maybe Dr Gregor isn't perfect, maybe Dr Bernard isn't either (although he is very very handsome lol), and I know that back in the early 2010's I tried to go vegan using Dr Esselstyn's information and it didn't work for me - that doesn't mean that what he and his family do should be complained about - Jeff has made a lot of mistakes himself over the past 8 years that I have watched him (although not recently) and I just think he could have been able to get his message across without the dissing of others - most of what Jeff said has come from Dr McDougall and that's fine as he is the person that was responsible for myself and my honey finally sticking to a whole food plant based diet and yet he doesn't 'do it' for many other people - all paths that lead to less animals being consumed and harmed is fine with me and as he said there is no need to nit pick and try to be perfect... as the body is very adaptable
