This is the article. As far as I can see they are saying there are plenty of reasons to explain why the horse DNA was found...but don't actually offer any :-/

Fair enough, it is misleading as the packaging does not state it has horse meat in it & that it is not ok to have wrong information on anything you buy. But people seem more concerned over the fact that is is HORSE. If you eat other animals, you can eat horse. Sigh.

Personally I am happy about the news and the outrage. I've heard about half the meat eaters I know say they are thinking of going veggie after this news story and the kfc one last week. It makes people actually wonder what goes into what they're eating xxx

Better that they be upset at eating horse than not caring - at least if it upsets them to eat a particular species, there's more hope that they might someday see that other animals are worth the emotional reaction also.

I wouldn't touch seafood, lamb or duck when I ate meat.

I get your aggravation guys, I really do... but their minds just don't think like that. At least not yet. I was once one of them and I try to keep that in mind. I just loathe dishonesty, a whole different ball game than denial. It is unacceptable being mislead about what you eat.

You know what they say, the mind is a terrible thing.
