500 mosquito bites later my vote has been cast.
I finally voted.
There was a tea party table set up outside with a handwritten sign saying 'tea party voting guides'. The invitation was too great, and I couldn't resist it. I went over and got one, I told him I needed to know who not to vote for. Then we had a very interesting (and enjoyable for me) conversation, which didn't go in his favor. I think that's the most fun I've ever had voting.
Anyone else drunk... or just me?
Drink more... it will help.I'm getting there. As of right now, it's 50% Obama, 49% Romney for N.C. but only 9% of precincts are reporting. NC. may very well still go red like predicted.
Oh wow. My state doesn't allow any campaigning in the parking lot of the polling location. No signs, no leaflets, no handshaking, no nothing. Or maybe it's a county policy, but it's nice.

It's worth the walk! (But I'm an enabler so don't listen to me).Working on it. Debating if I want to walk to get some more because I have one glass of wine left.
Liked your post out of empathy.I have to work I the morning so I can't get properly sloshed tonight.
