I think I have tried them. Sainsbury's sent me a £10 voucher today.

I haven't been able to get a delivery from them for months with lockdown. :fp:

Only Ocado and Tesco were reliable!

They are really delicious and they don't taste sweet.

I made some pulled jackfruit and it came out really tasty. I only have another 2 tins so will have to wait a few weeks before making some more.

I don't like jackfruit at all. I find it too sweet, I'm not sure if it the sauce or the jackfruit itself.

The first time that I tasted jackfruit (in the US) it was already prepared in a sweet/smoky barbecue sauce and I didn't like it. The second time, I bought another pack in the UK and it was nearly just as bad but a tad less sweet.

Happily, I tried Sainsbury's burgers and realised that it was the sauce and not the fruit.

I made a large batch of pulled jackfruit in the Instant Pot the other day, and omitted most of the sugar in the recipe. The sauce had a lot of depth and was smoky and not sweet at all. I only buy tinned jackfruit in brine and make my own dishes. Much cheaper and tastier compared to ready made.
