Looper was excellent. I thought Joseph Gordon-Levitt did a good job of imitating Bruce Willis, his facial expressions were really spot on. It is the best film of the year so far for me.

I'm looking forward to Skyfall.

Saw Cabin in the Woods and I thought it was excellent besides two points. I was disappointed in the first 10 minutes when I thought it was some humorous remake of Cabin Fever, and then later on when I thought it was
just another zombie movie. I wish they had gone with one of the more interesting/unusual monsters - zombie films have never interested me

He's really been an underrated actor. Only the past few years has he finally gotten a little bit more attention. Still not enough though. His performances are award worthy.

I was not expecting the evil unicorn!! I read spoilers about a unicorn, but I thought it would be some sort of mystical hero creature that saved them all. Either way , the fact that there was a unicorn in the movie just made the whole movie ten times more awesome.

Agree!
Also loved the nod to 'lotus finger'. I had also heard there was a unicorn in the movie before I saw it and I just knew it was going to run someone through with its horn. Fantastic stuff

^ That is another thing that annoyed me about that film, they did that unicorn idea already in an episode of Supernatural.

He is amazing, and cute IMO. ;) It's making me want to rewatch 10 Things and listen to the soundtrack again. I liked Brick and The Lookout too.

I quite enjoyed Looper but wish it was a little shorter. I found myself wondering when it was going to end at some points haha. I liked the story though. When my Dad was explaining what the story was I thought itd be soo complicated but they explained it all really well.

Id never heard of Joseph doodah so didnt have a clue he was wearing prostetics and imitating Brucie.

I saw it last night & loved it too! Even though there are quite a lot of loop holes in my opinion.

JGL is amazing. I liked him in 3rd rock as a kid & from Brick and Mysterious Skin all those years ago. It was only when 500 Days Of Summer came out that I realised he was the kid with the long hair all grown up. :D

I really want to see Sinister too! I say that I want to see it but I will be sitting there with my hand over my eyes for most of the film and asking my husband "What happened just then?"

The trailer for Paranormal Activity 4 was shown at the cinema & I hate hate hated. I am not going to be persuaded to see this one too..... NO I says.

Oh and speaking of Gordon-Levitt, I watched 50/50 last weekend which was very good. Honestly don't think I've ever cried so much throughout an entire film though.

I watched Albert Nobbs--it was good--but I am not sure Oscar worthy--accents were all over the place. Almost like the idea of it was better than actually seeing it. i also thought Janet Mcteer was outstanding--more so than Glen Close.
