I started to watch The Help on cable last night, but about 40 minutes in I got bored with it. Maybe I'll try again another time when I'm in a different frame of mind.

The Cabin the the Woods - 7/10. I had been looking forward to watching it and I thought it was going to be a serious scary film so it was a bit of a disappointment.

I liked that one quite a bit actually... though because it's from Joss Whedon I didn't go into it expecting a typical horror film.

I haven't seen it yet, but I'm not expecting a serious horror movie since I read so many reviews of it . Makes me want to see it even more now.

I think that was kind of the point. Being cliche for the sake of being cliche?

Yeah, I understood the point it was making but it still wasn't great. It was like a not very good episode of Buffy or Angel but without any characters that I like. I can't stand that guy from Dollhouse either, I find him really creepy.

Gotcha and yeah it probably didn't help that you find the Dollhouse dude creepy. I know that I really can't enjoy a movie (good or bad) if I can't tolerate one of the actors. It just ruins the whole film for me.

I really liked that movie. Definitely try to watch it again in the future.

This was filmed in my friends Street in Easington...round the corner from where I went to school. True story!

I fell in love with Milla Jovovich after seeing The Fifth Element (1997).

Of course! Filmed in my neck of the woods. My friend actually got to hang out with Jamie Bell (i think his name is) and show him around.

And the 5th Element is an AMAZING film. Milla is so cute in it....Leeloo Dallas multipass!

I just watched Prometheus. It was good but I hadn't read any reviews so I thought it was a prequel to Alien and it didn't really answer any of my questions. I thought the bit with the medical pod was the best part although it was disgusting.

Watched It's Complicated (2009) tonight. Very upper middle class white folk pseudo-drama, but since Meryl Streep is in it I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I wouldn't go so far as to not recommend it anyway.

I've watched a LOT of movies for the first time in the past two weeks because I'm recovering from knee surgery, and my boyfriend considers it high time I get some pop culture education.

We watched The Bourne Identity this morning. I liked it.

I saw Snow White and the Huntsman yesterday and it was pretty decent. I also rewatched Out of Time starring Denzel Washington and I enjoyed that too.

Total Recall - 2 hours of Colin Farrell being extremely attractive. I LOVED IT A LOT...

Really enjoyed Lawless.

& the newest Bourne film was decent too - just another Bourne action film but they're easy to watch & enjoyable enough , especially on the big screen because they are quite stunning visually, I think.
