watched Civil War yesterday - it was interesting and yet I didn't really see the point unless they were trying to show what could happen if a certain person was re-elected .... it was pretty graphic in some parts

Jack Ryan films - we watched Clear and Present Danger yesterday and Patriot Games now. Both are very good. So many famous actors in both! I have seen them both before.

Mother of the Bride was stupid predictable fun.
Atlas was good sci fi, even with j-low. I am not a fan of hers to say the least.
The first Omen was pretty good and creepy.
I just put on the Fantasy Island movie. I don't expect much. (Not cartoon Sunday because of sports. I normally put on the Fox Sunday night cartoons)

last night we watched The Outfit on Netflix and we loved it - a who dunnit - it's an old-fashioned crime thriller that takes place in one location and is a dialogue driven story - kept us spellbound to the last minute

Hack Your Health: The Secret of Your Guts - on Netflix - watched it last night and it was fascinating - the big item I took from it was the need for a variety of fruits and vegetables and other foods as the the gut biome needs a variety... it is not "vegan" per se so even your non-vegan friends and family will learn something helpful from it.

Last night I watched If.
I thought it was Wonderful.
I even teared up a little.
It got some mediocre reviews. Those guys must be way too jaded.
IMHO, one of those kids movies that are even better for the parents.
9/10
Also I'm guessing that the 12 year old actress that is the main character is going to have a great career.
Maybe the next Dakota Fanning.

Oh, and skip the trailer, it gives away too much of the mystery. but maybe afterwards check out the YouTube video, "IF | Meet the Cast"

I watched 'Civil War' with Mrs Summer a few days ago. We were not impressed at all. They didn't explain any of the events or politics that triggered the civil war. I guess you're supposed to use your imagination. (Perhaps the re-election of a certain president, as you say.) The characters were not particularly likeable. The story seemed badly written. For example, some characters were introduced and then killed off in the matter of minutes. I think perhaps the most memorable (yet gruesome) scene of the movie was the part with Jesse Plemons, Kirsten Dunst's husband. Little else left a lasting impression.

In the beginning it seemed very scientific, and informative. As it went on, with the participants, it seemed to get really weak. Granted, I wasn't paying a lot of attention when I had this on, but I felt the take away was quite lacking. Wanting to be able to eat pork again? And desserts? That didn't sit right with me at all
Honestly, How Not to Diet is the most comprehensive study I've come across, (and can understand!)
