TV & Film Movie Lounge

We just saw Bad Boys Ride or Die at the cinema. I wasn't that impressed at first, but it did get a lot better towards the middle to end.

I went to the used DVD store and picked up Appaloosa for $3.99 so it was even less than I thought and I can return it for a store credit if/when I like. It was worth the $4 and I enjoyed seeing the charactars, I had been reading about, come to life. It didn't follow the book exactly but close enough although the ending would maybe have been frustrating to anyone not knowing it was part of a series... maybe they thought they would do another movie (2nd book) and obviously that didn't happen. I just looked it up and apparently Viggo Mortenson was not on board for another movie and so the project died.

last night we watched Spencer Confidential (thank you @Lou ) and we enjoyed it very much - there are some rumours that there may be another one but I am not holding my breath as Alan Arkin died last year and he was a big part of the movie

I saw Twisters at the cinema and didn't like it. It wasn't awful, just quite boring, even with the storyline about tornados.

I remembered I also watched Aquaman at the Airbnb and that was terrible!

we watched Find Me Falling on Netflix last night - Harry Connick Jr, et al, I enjoyed it, with 1/2 hour to go my honey had had enough - the music was nice, not sure it is a 6.4, maybe 5.9

Watched "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare" this weekend with my wife on Amazon Prime.
We liked it, it's a fun movie, as usual with Guy Richie Movies.
