I saw World War Z and didn't like it.

I found it terrifying too.:p I got my husband to go and get me a glass of water from the kitchen last night because I thought Annabelle might be down there waiting for me.

I actually liked WWZ. It was nothing like the book of course, but if you take it for what it is - a CGI-packed action movie - then I think it does a decent job living up to expectations.

About Annabelle, here's a picture of the actual doll:

Would have been a much different movie.

I read the whole Oz series as a kid, so I'm excited to see the film (s).

I don't think it's much like the books, though I could be wrong. I think they tried to do their own thing, set sort-of within the book universe.

Does anyone remember Return to Oz? I loved that movie when I was younger.

Eeeee I loved that film! I thought the new Oz was OK but that couldve been helped by seeing it in imax 3D (amazing hurricane scene).

I liked WWZ but had to really seperate it from the book in order to do so. I knew it was just based in the same world before I saw it so that helped.

I last watched The Island, well half of it. I didnt realise it was 2 1/2 hours long so had to go to bed. It wasnt that great anyway.

I think I expected WWZ to be ground breaking and it was quite flat to me, also I don't really like Brad Pitt.:iiam:

I saw a bit of Pacific Rim the other day and I thought it was gosh awful.

I find dolls quite creepy anyway. I think they have been in too many horror films and TV shows.:D I was traumatised by the film Magic when I was younger, even though that was a ventriloquist dummy rather than a doll.

Superman:Man of Steel. I thought it was good.I really loved the choice of Henry Cavill to play Superman.I think he did an excellent job not to mention he is sexy as H***.

Did you like it?

I recently watched We Are The Millers. Hilarious , yet predictable.

I had already seen it on board my VA flight to LAX and wanted to see it a 2nd time.

I did enjoy it as Barbara Streisand is very funny and I enjoy her movies. I think that you would also have giggled. BS is an over protective mum travelling on a business trip with her son and always looking for coupons in her bag to get discounts.

I rewatched Sinister which was better than I remembered and The Blair Witch Project which was still seriously creepy, especially the ending.:sob:For Halloween I also watched Halloween H20 and The Conjuring again and I'm going to watch Scream 4 later as I taped it from TV.

Cold Prey III

A Norwegian horror movie trilogy. The last film.

I might watch those films, if they have subtitles.:)

Oh, I've already seen it. :up:I liked it. It was nice to see Seth Rogan play a different character for once.
