Maybe not, but he's gloating because the movie will get more people to buy his books, and he most certainly will profit from that. Not to mention homophobic people who love his homophobia will eagerly snap up his homophobic books in order to support him, which he's also gloating about.

That's the thing, his books aren't homophobic at all. I had nothing but respect for the guy when all I had to go off of were his forewords and writing. What a messed up situation.

Despite Rachel McAdams who is one of my favourite actresses, I would give the film a rating of 6/10.

Not exactly a movie, but I've been watching ST:TNG on DVD. Damnit, Riker really needs to grow a beard.

Also watched both the Ghostbusters, and Robocop, since I was feeling nostalgic.

Loved both of these movies so much, for very different reasons

I don't know, probably because could've been so amazing & it was close to being so but a few things just made it disappointing. Some of what happens just seemed very ridiculous to me & they made a certain part cheesy with ott music etc. It is a visually stunning film though. Maybe we should've seen it in 3D IMAX.
