Now, I need to find "The Princess Bride" on DVD... another of my favourites, and the protagonists even do the "boo in case of romantic scenes" part themselves :D

The bit that makes me laugh a lot in Groundhog Day is when he goes to have a shower and there is no hot water and he says to the landlady in the hall and she laughs and says there wouldn't be any hot water today and he says "Of course not, silly me". So sarcastic, it cracks me up.

I watched a horror film called Spring the other day and it was quirky and funny.

I taped a horror film called The Witches, the 1966 film with Joan Fontaine. I think I might have seen it before but I thought I would tape it just to check.

Hey, I have not yet shared that I actually watched "The Interview" some time ago.

To be honest, it was quite funny.

Definitely MUCH better than I was expecting.
(Granted, I was not expecting very much. But, still!)

Best regards,
Andy

Steel Magnolias...the cemetery scene gets me every time. Huge lump in my throat...tight and painful! And now the sobs! I don't know why I put myself through it! Lol

Jurassic World. The first part was totally awful but it did improve a bit after that. The first JP film is a classic and they haven't been able to improve on that film. The humans in JW were being so obnoxious by exploiting the animals for their own entertainment that I enjoyed seeing them being chomped.:D

I love the first Jurassic Park movie. I tried watching the second and third ones, but never made it past the first half hour or so of either. They just didn't have the excitement of the first movie.

It's really hard for me to call Jurassic World a "good film" but I definitely really enjoyed it. Everyone complains about the effects for some reason (complaining about CGI seems to be nearly a pastime for some people) but I thought they were pretty good. Overall it was corny as hell and not very well written (with some casual sexism thrown in for good measure ) but the heart of the movie is the dinosaurs and the dinosaurs were great so the movie was enjoyable.

I really liked Jurassic World. I loved the dinosaurs and the "Sea World" references were pretty obvious. I found parts of it ridiculous... the woman running around in HEELS ffs. :D

Oh yeah.... and we also saw the latest Terminator this week. It was pretty cool. I like the humor and the strong woman lead.

Saw "Tomorrowland" on the plane. Funny movie, worth watching.

I especially liked the performances of the young actresses Raffey Cassidy and Britt Robertson alongside George Clooney and Hugh Laurie.

Has anybody seen the Honest Movie Trailers on YouTube. I was laughing at them.

I definitely want to see that.:)
