Now, I need to find "The Princess Bride" on DVD... another of my favourites, and the protagonists even do the "boo in case of romantic scenes" part themselves
Also, I've read an analysis of it in the Philosophy Now magazine, which in itself is evidence to the movie's greatness.![]()
I saw "Pan's Labyrinth (2006)" yesterday (on DVD).
A movie that is poetic, strong, sometimes sad, but definitely memorable and worth watching.
Best regards,
Andy
I watched Sorry, Wrong Number yesterday, I had seen it before but years ago. Sorry, Wrong Number (1948) - IMDb
Steel Magnolias...the cemetery scene gets me every time. Huge lump in my throat...tight and painful! And now the sobs! I don't know why I put myself through it! Lol
Jurassic World. The first part was totally awful but it did improve a bit after that. The first JP film is a classic and they haven't been able to improve on that film. The humans in JW were being so obnoxious by exploiting the animals for their own entertainment that I enjoyed seeing them being chomped.![]()
Oh yeah.... and we also saw the latest Terminator this week. It was pretty cool. I like the humor and the strong woman lead.
