I have watched a few Christmas movies on Amazon. All rom-coms with similar themes. "A Time For Us to Come Home for Christmas" which is the longest movie title ever! LOL Pretty much tells the story too! "Snowy With a Chance of Christmas" . I can't even remember the details of this one. "Jingle Bell Ranch" had cute animals. "A Christmas of Wonders" was probably my favorite about a woman re-connecting with her family. "Christmas in Paradise" starred Kelsey Grammar who also produced it. He played the father of 4 very different women, 3 of them came to his island hideaway to save him.
All enjoyable!

There are several Time For Us Movies on hallmark. Time for Her, Time for Us, Time for Them, Time for Me...ok so I might be making some of this up, lol, but there really are at least 4-5 of them. I only liked the ones with Lacey Chabert and Allison Sweeney. The others were just meh but probably because I'm particular about who they cast as the leads. Now I have to go look up and see how many movies they made.

I like the song. It's in all of the movies. Initially I hated it but it grew on me lol.

🎶Now it's Christmas, Christmas I'm hurrying' on my way
Christmas, Christmas, like I'm riding in a one horse sleigh
Well, I don't have to hear no jingle bells, just the ringing of the phone
Mama just called and said it's time
For me to come home 🎶

Just watched "Merry Birthday, Happy Christmas." It was a really cute movie even though the acting was somewhat amateurish. It was a rom-com of course but a little different. Kevin and Sarah grew up together and shared a Dec. 25th birthday. They always had their own little birthday party every year which continued via computer through the years. Kevin moves back to their hometown and you can guess the rest. What made it different was that there were testimonials throughout the film of people talking about having a birthday on or around Christmas. I enjoyed it very much!

Ok I have another one! LOL "Holiday Hold-up" which was more of a Christmas heist than a romance. There is some romance too, of course. A group of restaurant workers are told the place is closing a few days before Christmas so they plan revenge. It was fun!

You are correct about the Time for so-and-so to Come Home for Christmas movies. :) I, too, like only the ones with Lacey Chabert and Allison Sweeny. :D We watched Time for Us to Come for Christmas last night. That's the one where several guests receive an anonymous invitation to stay at an inn. I really like that one.

Oh, I love that version of A Christmas Carol. I have memories of watching that on TV as a kid, eating pot pie on a TV tray. That was a rare treat, because my mom didn't like us to eat in the living room, probably because we were such messy kids, haha.

I watched Noel. Hadn't seen it in a few years. It's a great Christmas movie with Susan Sarandon and Robin Williams. 🥰
