If you want to see something incredible, rent the first and second seasons of Mission: Impossible. You'll see a young Martin Landau playing Rollin Hand; Lean, hungry, intense. There's one episode, I don't remember which season it's in (possibly the first ), in which Rollin Hand gets himself into and out of prison WITHOUT using any fancy gadgets or masks or costumes. It's fascinating watching him establish his character in the first season without all the hi-tech stuff that became a hallmark of the series.

Romero hits close to home. Horror is one of maybe five whole facets of my personality and that guy is a legend. I still haven't seen Night of the Living Dead, or any of the others for that matter, but I'll be marathoning those before too long I think.
